Underwater Museum is the first of its kind in Greece that is open to the public. Culture Minister, Lina Mendoni, launched the Museum together with the Mayor of Alonissos, Petros Vafinis and the Governor of Thessaly’s region, Kostas Agorastos, that they were also involved in the first diving on a dive to 30 metres deep.
The shipwreck is now open to divers for entertainment, who they will be able to explore, with the guidance of experienced divers. Until October 2020 the Underwater Museum it was on a test run and it is now open to the public during the summer season.
